Description

Each District provides a wide variety of workshops and retreats throughout the school year, based on a specific schedule and set of priorities that are shared at the beginning of each school year. There are often subject-specific gatherings, scheduled on a rotating basis, which allow same-subject-area teachers to gather to share best practices, next practices, and their common experiences at the schools. These workshops and retreats are particularly valuable to veteran teachers and staff, whose experiences enhance and deepen the programs.

Some examples of the groups within the Lasallian San Francisco New Orleans District include the Discerning Leaders Program, District Chief Administrators Association, Campus Ministers and Student Activities Annual Gathering, Christian Service-Learning, Twinning Program, Vandu Paaru (Immersion in India/Sri Lanka/Myanmar), Vocation Coordinators Gathering, Association of Board Chairs, etc.
