Description

This is a children’s book that was created by the Brothers in Spain to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the entrance into heaven of St. John Baptist de La Salle on April 30, 1719.

The drawings are by Mariona Brunet Bravo, and the text was put together by the ARLEP District Team for Lasallian Materials. The story is told by De La Salle himself, in language that children will understand and appreciate.

The original booklet has been translated into English by Br. George Van Grieken, FSC, with the permission of the Brothers who created it. Some additional text was added to the original story in order to provide further context for an English-speaking audience.
