A Little More Information

The seminal work that introduced and described the movement of the Lasallian charism from a “Brothers” mission to the “shared” mission with Lasallian Partners. The Superior General at the time, Br. John Johnston, FSC, steps through the story of De La Salle and the first Brothers and develops a contemporary understanding of what it means today to live that same charism within an educational community that includes a wide variety of individual vocations.

This is such a key document in learning about the development of the idea of “association” among the larger Lasallian family that it should be part of the required reading list for any serious Lasallian educator.
