A Little More Information
This setting of the “Let Us Remember” prayer in the Lasallian tradition is based on the simple melody composed by Br. George Van Grieken, FSC. Some years later, Otto Wild, the choral director of La Salle Catholic College Preparatory High School in Milwaukie, OR, composed a SATB setting for his student choir, and Br. Martin Yribarren, FSC, of Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, CA, further edited that setting for his choir. The result is the piece that is provided here.
