Cahiers Lasalliens

A scholarly series of books and original texts, begun in 1956 and continuing into today, whereby significant Lasallian works and studies are made available for general distribution within the Lasallian world.

Description

These “Lasallian Journals” are a non-periodic collection of over 67 books written by Brothers from around the world. Publication began in 1956 with the aim of making known the complete works of SJBDLS and studies on his life, spirituality and charism. They continue to be published in French with translations into the other official languages of the Institute, with the work being coordinated by the Lasallian Research and Resources Service.

Of particular significance are volumes 61, 62, 63, and 67, wherein Brother Leon Lauraire, FSC, has provided an extensive analysis of the classic educational text, “The Conduct of Christian Schools.” The most recent journal (Nº 67) is the fourth in a series by Br. Leon Lauraire: The Conduct of Schools: A Diachronic approach / Development of the text from 1706 to 1916.
