A Little More Information

Advent is a time of anticipation, a time of waiting, a time to reflect about the upcoming Christmas celebration and season. It is probably not a time to simply worry about decorating the house, buying presents for others, and attending as many Christmas parties as possible. But both of these sets of activities may happen at the same time, and rightly so. Life is not conveniently split up into two separate time periods. It’s all one.

These reflections are invitations to spend just a little time thinking about, praying about, and making decisions about the importance of the Incarnation in our lives; why it is that the advent of Jesus Christ has made such a great difference, and how it is that we act out of that difference.

The videos may be used in all sorts of ways – personal reflection, group conversations, or a gift to a friend via email. However they are used, the point is to allow them to help you look behind the Christmas flurry to the Christmas seed.
