Lasalliana – Volume 35 – The Year of Prayer
The individual articles for this Volume are found below.
These sets of 2-page studies and reflections on Lasallian topics began in September 1983 and were published every year in three volumes up to 2001. Each volume contained 20 separate leaflets on specific themes or topics by Brothers and others from around the world. Many Brothers and others have benefited from these compact nuggets on various aspects of De La Salle, Lasallian education, the Institute, and the like. There are 53 sets or “volumes” of this publication, providing over 1,000 individual resources for perusal, research, and Lasallian formation.

Let Us Remember – SATB Setting 2 (Copy)
This is a SATB setting of the phrase “Let us remember that we are in Holy Presence of God.” It is based on a simple melody that became the basis of a choral setting, one that went through two iterations by two different composers. As such, it is a collaborative Lasallian effort.
It may be used to begin prayer services at schools, school events, choral concerts, or other settings where a short, reflective choral piece would be an asset.
Composers: Br. George Van Grieken, FSC; Otto Wild: Br. Martin Yribarren, FSC

Let Us Remember – Octavo for Choir
This is a setting of a popular invocation of the Lasallian prayer: “Let us remember that we are in the Holy Presence of God.” The setting is arranged for four voices (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) and simple to learn. Nevertheless, the harmonies are rich and complex. It is a great piece for choirs in Lasallian schools to us at their liturgies, prayer services, or as a prayer for Lasallian events.
HERE or below is a link to the page that includes the print Octavo, the PDF Octavo, and a recording sample.
Arrangers: Otto Wild & Br. Martin Yribarren, FSC
