A Little More Information

This 8 minute video provides a short overview of the life of St. John Baptist de La Salle (1651-1719), the Patron Saint of Teachers, and the Founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. It is based on the writings of Br. Luke Salm, FSC, Br. George Van Grieken, FSC, and John Gray. The video provides a good and comprehensive overview of his life and influence, accompanied by photographs taken from various websites, including the www.dlsfootsteps.org website, which would be a good companion resource with this video.

The video is one of a series of videos that were created by a teacher at La Salle Academy in Providence, RI, for use by the school.
